Sponge Halwa

My Signature Dish. Softness of bread with it sweet texture gives a heaven feeling. Melts in mouth and goodness of wheat bread adds guilt free emotions too.


Recipe Ingredients

  • One packet whole wheat bread - 1
  • Granulated Sugar - 1 bowl
  • Canola Oil - any other choice is yours - for deep fry
  • Almonds - 10
  • Raisins - 1/4 bowl
  • Chilled Milk 250 ml

  • Recipe Preparation

    1. Take half of the chilled milk in a broad bowl
    2. Pour the oil in a deep pan and let it be heated
    3. Now take one slice of whole wheat bread and fry it deeply
    4. As soon as it turns golden color take it out and put it in chilled milk bowl
    5. Dip it from both sides and then squeeze it by wearing gloves on hands because it may be hot from inside.
    6. Keep it aside in a plate
    7. You can add more milk if the milk turns hot. Oils come above the milk hence all the oil from bread slices comes out.
    8. Fry all the slices with same procedure and keep aside
    9. Now take a pan and put all the squeezed breads in that pan and with the help of serving spoon mash them properly and pour a bit of milk in it.
    10. Add granulated sugar in it and keep stirring
    11. At last add almonds and raisins and stir well
    12. Your heaven is ready !!

Pizza Parantha

Taste of Pizza in a Parantha


Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 cups - whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup - sweet corn frozen
  • 1 - capsicum
  • 2-3 tbsp - salsa sauce
  • 2-3 tbsp - tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp - butter
  • 2 - cheese slices
  • 5-6 - jalapenos
  • 1-2 tsp - oreganos
  • 1-2 tsp - chili flakes

  • Recipe Preparation

    1. Chop the capsicum, jalapenos and put the frozen sweet corns in boiled water. Mix the capsicum, jalapenos, sweet corns, oregano and chili flakes in a bowl.
    2. Make a dough with whole wheat flour, same as for chapati. Make 2 same sized chapatis.
    3. Take one chapati, lay it down and now put some salsa sauce on it and spread it on the whole chapati. Do the same with tomato ketchup on it.
    4. Now put the mixture on it and add half of the cheese slice in small pieces on it as shown in the pic.
    5. Put the second chapati on it and lock it with a fork. Now, toast the parantha on a Tawa with a little butter on both sides.
    6. When toasted from both sides, cut it in 4 pieces and serve hot.


Veggie Casserole

Inspired by Sharanya Raghuraman's recipe few days back.... Tempting it is !!


Recipe Ingredients

  • For White Sauce- Milk- 1 cup
  • All purpose flour- 1 tbsp
  • Butter - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Italian herbs- 1 tbsp
  • Sugar- 1 tbsp
  • Salt- 1/2 tbsp
  • Black Pepper- 1/2 tbsp
  • For Casserole: Capsicum- 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Sweetcorn - 1/2 cup
  • Tomato- 1
  • Mushroom - 5
  • Pineapple chunks - 8-10
  • Milk- 1/4 cup
  • Tomato ketchup -1 tbsp
  • Italian Herbs - 1/2 tbsp
  • Pepper- 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt- 1/2 tbsp
  • Sugar- 1/2 tbsp
  • Mozzarella Cheese- 100 gms
  • Garlic - 4 pieces

  • Recipe Preparation

    1. First of all, we will prepare white sauce, for this melt butter in a heavy bottom pan and add one tbsp all purpose flour in it.
    2. Now slowly slowly add milk in it and keep stirring so that no lumps formed. Now add salt, pepper and sugar in it.
    3. Add Italian herbs in it and keep stirring until it starts thickening. Switch off the gas and keep it aside .
    4. Now chop all the vegetables in normal size and keep aside.
    5. In a pan, melt butter and add garlic pieces in it and fry it till they turn golden color.
    6. Add vegetables in it and keep stirring. Add salt and sugar in it and then add milk in it.
    7. Add tomato ketchup and black pepper in it. Turn off the gas.
    8. Grease the tin plate, and set a layer of veggies first then add white sauce, if sauce seems thicken then add bit milk in it and then spread on veggies.
    9. Grate mozzarella cheese on it and sprinkle Italian herbs and pepper on it.
    10. Preheat the air fryer and air fry it for 5 minutes on 160 deg temp and then 5 minutes on 200 deg temp.
    11. Bake it till turns golden on outer side. Take out and let it be on normal temp and serve by cutting it in pieces
  • You can add chilli sauce in it depending on the chilli amount you need!

Domino's Kinda Cheese Garlic Bread

A Domino's style extra cheese garlic bread


Recipe Ingredients

  • All purpose Flour- 1 and 1/2 cups
  • Garlic Paste- 2 tbsp
  • Instant Yeast - 1 tbsp
  • Mozzarella Cheese - 150 gms
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Chopped Garlic - 10 gms
  • Oregano flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar- 1 tbsp

  • Recipe Preparation

    1. Take a bowl, pour in the hot water, add 1 tbsp yeast and 1 tbsp sugar and leave it aside for 5 minutes.
    2. Now mix in the all purpose flour, salt and oil and add yeast mixture in it to make a soft dough.
    3. Leave this dough aside for 2-3 hours in an air tight box with enough space so that the dough can rise.
    4. After almost 3 hours, the dough should have risen to almost double its size. Now, add in garlic paste and grated 50 gm mozzarella cheese and mix it and again. Leave this aside for almost 2 hours.
    5. Preheat the oven at 150 degree temperature and take a butter paper and press the dough in a chapati shape but not too thin.
    6. In one side, layer the chopped garlic and 100 gms grated mozzarella cheese on it and fold it on the half side.
    7. Mark the cuts vertically and put the oregano flakes in it and press gently with oily hands.
    8. Let it bake in the oven for almost 10-12 minutes at 180 degrees temperature.
    9. Check it with tester to see if it's done, if it's still not cooked bake it for another 2-3 minutes.
    10. Serve it warm to enjoy!

Katori Chaat

A chatpati chaat in a crispy katori

Recipe Ingredients

  • For the Katori - 
  • All purpose flour- 1 cup
  • Lemon syrup - 3 tbsp
  • Tomato Ketchup - 3 tbsp
  • Pomegranate - 1/4 cup
  • Coriander Chutney- 1/4 cup
  • Boondi namkeen - 1/4 cup
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Green chilli (optional)
  • Tomato- 1
  • Cucumber - 1

  • For the Chaat-
  •  2 Onion
  • Oil to fry
  • Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil- 1 tbsp
  • Semolina - 1/4 cup
  • Besan - 1/2 cup
  • Navratan Namkeen

  • Recipe Preparation

    1. Make a dough using the all purpose flour, besan, semolina, oil, salt and chilli powder and keep aside.
    2. Now chop all the vegetables and mix it with navaratan namkeen and sprinkle 1 tbsp lemon syrup on it after adding salt and chilli.
    3. Take a small steel katori, in the meanwhile take a deep pan and put the oil to fry and let it be heated for at least 5 minutes.
    4. Make a small chapati of the dough and place it on the steel katori and make holes with the help of a fork.
    5. Put the katori along with the steel katori and fry it until it turns golden in colour. The steel katori will get automatically separated.
    6. Fry all the katories and let them cool down a bit.
    7. Sprinkle the lemon syrup and ketchup in katori and fill it with chaat.
    8. Pour the beaten curd on it, green chutney, tomato ketchup, boondi and pomegranate on it.
    9. Serve as it is.

Potato Pops


An air fryer recipe that has zero oil but the outcome is this awesome spicy potato veggie pops.


Recipe Ingredients

  • Potato - 3
  • Capsicum - 1 small sized
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Green chilli - 1
  • Oregano Flakes - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Besan - 1 tbsp
  • Few tooth picks
  •  
  • Recipe Preparation

    1. Boil the potatoes and peel them. Keep aside.
    2. Chop all the vegetables nicely and mix them with mashed potatoes.
    3. Add salt, oregano flakes and 1 tbsp besan in it. Mix it all well together.
    4. Preheat the air fryer. Also roll the mixture like a ball and adjust a toothpick in it. Similarly make all the pops.
    5. Set the air fryer temperature at 160 degrees and place the pops in the tray to fry. Fry them for 5 - 6 minutes.
    6. Increase the temp to 200 degrees and fry it for 3-4 minutes. The pops will turn to golden brown in colour.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup.

  • Banana - 2
  • Apple - 1
  • Black grapes - 1 bowl
  • Strawberries - 1 bowl (4-5)
  • Peanuts roasted - 1/2 bowl
  • Almonds - 1/4 bowl
  • Raisins - 1/4 bowl
  • Corn flakes - 1/2 bowl
  • Pomegranate - 1

  • Recipe Preparation

    1. Chop all the fruits and keep it aside
    2. Finely grate the almonds and add peanuts and raisins to it.
    3. Mix it with fruits and at last mix 1/2 bowl of corn flakes in it
    4. Mix well and Here is your Healthy Breakfast
